Rode it yesterday. It was good, an improvement over the previous version and while simple seemed like it wouldn't seem outdated quickly. It's still the same ride though. I enjoyed it and single rider absolutely flew by. I mean we basically walked on despite the regular queue being 50min.
I went 5/4 and I'm glad I did everything (except DK which seemed to only operate like for 10% of the day) but would agree it just seems like they're not ready. The rides are great, never saw a show, food wasn't bad (way way better than what the other UO parks offer) but honestly nothing mind...
Yep, the whole convention is $$$. SAP careers pay very well and this event is full of senior folks and executives. I hope next year they do Epic and yeah wasn't a fan of Zac Brown Band as the music choice but he had two packed shows so whatever. I won the m&g for Jessica Alba and I felt bad for...
Im glad I went Sunday and did basically everything except DK. In some cases we rode rides 2x. These past few days have been rough. Even MoM was pretty much perfect for me from what I could tell but am aware their sensors are pretty crazy.
With the stormy weather coming in I'm curious to see...
I posted earlier about the storm and I report back that after the bad storms that lasted til about 11am, it was a beautiful day. My thoughts -
Mariokart is cool for kids but a little overwhelming and all over the place.
Never made it on Donkey Kong. Was down all morning and waits were...
Going today. The forecast had 50% chance of rain leading up to today and I was hopeful it was typical Florida weather forecast but ho lee poo it is NASTY. Im not sure it has rained this hard in months...so...I guess we will see how Epic is during what looks like a pretty miserable washout of a day.
They won't do this because
A) Disney Adults and vloggers would just fill up with massive lines if they did this (see the free villains event which was pure chaos)
B) they can just add random ticketed events with the characters
I get why they fired 100+ people but man, the job market in Orlando is so trash and they need *so* many people to work at EU. That will be .... interesting
I have no insider info except only two things I've heard-
Ministry of magic is having issues and "nothing is working right"
And
Someone awhile ago stole an awesome prop from SNW that apparently they can't replicate in time lol
Is it confirmed to be an animatronic and not an elaborate puppet?
Also, the food looks interesting but I'll want to see real photos. Imo universals biggest challenge is how terrible their food is across the board. I hope they can rectify that with Epic.
Maybe a hot take but I'm not a fan of any of the "human" m&g associated with Star Wars. The prince and princesses are fine across the parks but for SW they just never hit (and yes I know they are mainly for kids).
Rey and Vi are pretty lame. Luke would probably be terrible. More droids...more...
This post could've been written by me. I've long said Universal would be equal to Disney if not for their food. It is terrible. I believe they even hired someone from Disney to coordinate all their festival events and the food at those is disgusting.
I even ate at a nice restaurant at Sapphire...
There wasn't really a good place to post but the last couple of times I've been to HS I noticed Mandalorian did not have Grogu with him. I assume it's a logistics issue with roaming vs having to stay in one spot. Did I just run into him coincidentally or do they not have Grogu anymore?
