Going in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know if the ride is actually closing or if this work is going to happen around the ride operating? I know know closures listed on calendar.

Is 28th Jan the date work will begin? Or is that just when adjustments will be made to shows?

These EEH have really thrown off our planning…! We expected (and semi-planned for) EPCOT on Monday and MK on Wednesday, so have had to shift everything around. Hopefully back to normal the week after for our second week!

This is the second day of our Disney trip. We were considering going to MK as our first park day on the Monday and EPCOT the second day but I’ve read that crowds are very low on event days such as these. Would it be a good idea for us to go to MK on Tuesday instead and park hop once it closes...

Seems as though it was a mistake. Updated now and still listed as closed. Shame :(

Jan 1st park hours showing today in the app and Buzz (alongside photos) no longer showing as closed for refurbishment. Do we reckon this is the actual reopning date or is it just not updated yet for some reason? BTMR still showing as closed.

A photo on Facebook earlier this morning showed a newly erected crane next to the castle. People in the comments seem to think the painting is about to begin. Anyone got any intel?
