    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

The thing with WDW is that it feels at home to us. The hotels are fun to visit and ride the monorail all over the resort. The boats are fun too. The Magic Kingdom feels like if a mega corporation tried to build their own Disneyland. Little kids will be at home there. Adults will feel a new...

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

Wouldn't convincing they are right about Disneyland be a good thing? That means less people at the park, lower prices, more entertainment and generally make Disney try harder for our money? It should be kept a secret like before the Internet.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

The movie is the loss leader. It's the IP merchandising (and streaming) where the real money is made.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

So was Avatar 3 self funded by Cameron and Disney/Fox is just the distributor? I would assume the split between Cameron and Disney isn't 50/50. Does that make the Avatar series the biggest independent movies ever?

    Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday

The Chris Evans thing might have been a poorly kept secret but I didn't know or care about it. I don't think most of the unwashed care either. I hear the story of the Odyssey is a pretty popular subject among Gen Z and Alphas now. That's a good thing. I was really hoping to see some of the...

3D-printed prop canoe arriving soon at Jungle Cruise

Thanks for a great intro on 3d printers. We are mostly going to print armor or accessories for Transformers or Star Wars. The prints won't be huge. My son wants Bambu.

    Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday

I'm planning on seeing it but I see a lot of movies in the theater. I'm more excited about seeing the Odyssey in theaters. I'm not planning on see Mando & Grogu but I'm sure someone will force me to.

3D-printed prop canoe arriving soon at Jungle Cruise

I've been wanting a 3D printer for years. I'm planning on remodeling the garage with a new workbench, painted floor and organize my tools. Do you have an recommendations on a resin 3D printer? I just want a good quality machine for a beginner.

    Christmas Time At Disneyland - A Trip Summary (12/6 - 12/8)

Guests are just plane rude. They are too used to acting like jerks on social media that is spills into their daily lives. I feel for theme park employees everywhere. Hospitality is not an easy thing with people trying to get things for free or acting privileged because they read it worked on...

New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

Again cute characters that Disney Adults can coo over should never be in a land dedicated to humanity's future. It never ends well. See Stitch's Great Escape. A small Epcot Center Future World is the only acceptable alternative to keep with Walt's original vision.

    Christmas Time At Disneyland - A Trip Summary (12/6 - 12/8)

The Golden Zephyr is very underrated. It is one of the few attractions that hasn't changed since opening day.

Intermissions mean less showing per day.
