I left my MagicBand in the car once and was like, oh wait! I can just use my phone! Ha, never again. The thing worked about 30% of the time. I had to re-scan several times to get into attractions. I even rebooted my phone once because it refused to scan. MagicBands never fail.

What's with the year long closures of the water parks? First Typhoon Lagoon and now Blizzard Beach looks like it might head that direction. This used to be a yearly 3-month process. Are they doing this to limit operating costs? I don't see why having a crane on site would necessitate the park...

Yes! The first thing I thought after watching the ride-through was how they should have made the walls of the tornado room similar to the ending scene of Mystic Manor. I love your idea of elaborating on the classic scene from The Band Concert. That room could have been epic.

It's exactly the same layout except for the part right after the first launch where it goes over the track and dives back down under the bridge that got cut. Now it is more of a cut back element. No major difference in length that I can see.

It's not cast member preview...it's media day, which I would think exists to show off the final product right before opening to the public.

Well, that's why I said E/D. It would be hard to call TSM a D-ticket when 80M was spent developing it, and Slinky Dog is a launched coaster with a unique layout rather than an off the shelf design. I mean any of these ticket classifications are just approximations anymore anyway.

I like the land too from what I have seen. Disappointed to hear that the swirling saucers ride is rough, but I am really excited about another solid, thrilling family coaster to take my kids on. Also, I think many people are overlooking the fact that the most popular ride in the park finally...

Ah, so they did have umbrellas on them? That is good to hear, but it doesn't look like those tables can support an large umbrella properly. Are the tables anchored to the ground and it just looks like they are loose?

Just saw the final seating area for Woody's Lunchbox, and what a complete failure it is. Movable tables and chairs with no umbrellas? Are you kidding me Disney??? It was bad enough to not have an interior quick service restaurant with AC so people could find some relief from the heat...the land...

I see where you are coming from on the animation style, but they are just keeping up with the times. This is what will appeal to the current generation and have kids and teens queuing up for this attraction. I started watching them with my 5-year-old last month and he had an instant connection...

Can I get the TLDR version of why people are down on this attraction? Other than it replacing GMR (which personally I am fine with). I have clicked through countless pages and can't get a grasp on the problem with MMRR. Like why "Mickey deserves better". I read that the perspective changing...

I don't know. I went on it the first year and with the original lighting there was enough time for the the Yeti to make an impact. Nobody didn't see the Yeti back then, and I think the brief encounter makes it scarier since you don't have as much time to analyze the AA. It's way different now...
