#10- Anaconda [Watched in theaters] Boring, derivative, and everyone kind of just plays themselves. Paul Rudd plays Paul Rudd, Jack Black plays Jack Black, and poor Thandiwe Newton plays "girl" as that's essentially her full character arc. The snake looks terrible, but occasionally there is a...

Well friends, It's certainly been a year for movies. I think some really phenomenal stuff came out this year, but some garbage did too. Now, I know we have a couple more days left of 2025 and technically I could squeeze in a few more, but with full transparency and also at risk of oversharing...

Yeah I just left Sentimental Value an hour or so ago and I don't think I loved it. I liked the characters but something about it just didn't do it for me. That said, Stellan Skarsgard is being added to my shortlists.

All the Grinches and Scrooges out here bahing their humbugs. Christmas is my favorite and Christmas music is a year round one for me. I’m partial to That’s What Christmas Means to Me by Stevie Wonder and also of course Fairytale of New York by the Pogues

My Shortlists (Keeping in mind so far I've seen almost 300 movies this year) Now, there's a few movies I've yet to catch (Marty Supreme, Sentimental Value, Rental Family, SpongeBob, It Was Just an Accident, The Secret Agent, amongst a few others) that could sneak in if I see them before...

So sometime between Christmas and New Years, @TheOriginalTiki and I will be doing our live stream for The Third Annual Golden Tikis nominations. It'll be a good time where we each announce one nomination, then two wildcards that YOU the audience get to vote between. It's been fun in years past...

So here comes PerGron the contrarian, but I actually really enjoyed Fire and Ash. I think it’s the perfect follow up to the original film and while I agree The Way of Water looks beautiful, I really didn’t jive with that movie because it felt incomplete and that nothing really of substance...

So legendary director of some of the greatest family films and comedies of all time (The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Stand By Me, Misery) Rob Reiner and his wife murdered today. Obviously horrific and tragic and I wish the best to his friends and family impacted, but as a cinephile...

    1. There’s too many to choose from honestly. I think Age of Magic in 1986 remains my favorite all-around project, but the entirety of the Everett Eerie backstory from that same game is strong, my personal Wild Kingdom project shows my commitment to realism when it comes to animal projects, but...
