I understand exactly what you mean. I live in the Northeast and have always wanted to run the Boston Marathon. I am not quite fast enough to qualify. You can get a charity bib. They go for about $7,500. I see the charity bibs as a way to get into a race but a Disney registration is pretty high...

I had tried to sign up for the 2024 marathon. I was in the que for over an hour and all of the races sold out before I got through. All four races and the challenges.

Wow, given all of these accounts, for once I just got lucky registering for a RunDisney race. I did do a small video, I need to figure out how to edit. I start it off with a shot of my computer stating, "I think this is the hardest part of any RunDisney race."

I know in this case that is did you no good, but how did you enter the waiting room that early? I went to RunDisney and I could not get by the screen noting the races until much later.

I had seen an advertisement recently by RunDisney stating they were going to make more entries available for the 5K races.

How did you get in at 9:22am? Do you live to the West? I did not get in until about 9:55am Eastern Standard Time.

I ran the Rock n' Roll 5k and the Half in Vegas, in 2024. I agree it is a blast running down the strip. The 10k and the Half run at the same time. A good amount of entertainment. The start is a bit of a cluster f---, but once you get going it is good. Funny instance, you run out by the airport...

Honestly though don't you love it? I ran a10 miler two years ago. I did not run badly, but it was small race. I finished 2nd in my division, 60 and over. I finished last in the race only 2 of us in the division. :D

I am sorry, but it sounds like you knowingly provoke Disney Security by what you try to bring into the park and the way you bring it in and then try to play the victim.

The though makes me sad. (really) Though it may sound odd, politics has become too much a part of the Hall of Presidents. The President's politics may not always match those of Disney, but it shouldn't matter.

Ran the B.A.A. 10k on 06/22/2025 in Boston. Rained to start the day, high 70s, low 80s temps and humid. I wish I had a better run, but I really enjoy B.A.A. races.
