Universal Puts Disney's Reopening on Defensive

I'm local but I just cannot imagine someone wanting to spend the amount of money a WDW vacation costs to visit under these restrictions and limited park access. And that's nothing against Disney. Save your money for a safer, more enjoyable time.

News Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Well, now I know that a global pandemic is what it takes for me to get my first Passholder email in 8 years. So many ride previews missed.

News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening reports and using Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

I really need to find the beginning of this argument. But it probably won't be fulfilling.

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker Reactions: SPOILERS

Great breakdown! Agree about Hux. He was the spy, but it was for selfish reasons, so he still didn’t end up redeemable imo. We’re likely going to see again this weekend. My wife (who loves to root for bad guys) is still devastated about Kylo. But I’m not. I liked his character, but a mass...

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker Reactions: SPOILERS

Just saw it today. I enjoyed it quite a lot. But I’m not the type of fan that my whole identity relies on Star Wars being perfect. I fully admit that my thoughts wouldn’t carry that much weight among most of you. It would be interesting to see some more opinions in this thread. It seems to be...

SPOILERS: The Mandalorian S1 Chapter 6

Even for this guy it was a little distracting. Especially since her brother didn't act the same. Loved the episode overall. I also really like Bill Burr in general.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I like around the world. But you really have to sit directly in the middle or it gets weird.

    The Imagineering Story on Disney+

Must say I love the the sped up editing technique that they use to make some of the footage look like a model with little figures moving around. They use it a lot throughout each episodes but I love it. I'm sure it's been used a lot elsewhere, but it's perfect for theme park b-roll.

TIME Business Person Of The Year: Bob Iger

Man, I really thought there would be a huge thread on this today.

Largest attendance @ DHS in 5 years

The ghost town thing is puzzling. Sure I've experienced it super crowded, light and in between but I haven't really seen a ghost town. Unless they only walked out of the tunnel, looked around and thought that was it.

Thank you. Trying to weed through them all for the info.

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

Interesting to hear more details come out. Last night I was still under the impression that a ton of cabins had to be evacuated. Do we think that request for assistance actually resulted in the extended delay and not necessarily the accident?

Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019

Had just gotten off, walked into Epcot to swipe our bands (to click off another visit toward the AP coasters) got back in line and were nearing the front when it all stopped. We waited about another 20 minutes before they announced closed for the night. So close to being stuck. I would have...
