Actually, we thought the band was pretty terrific and went back for a second set (which wasn't planned). They are there through Saturday, and I recommend them - as long as you aren't expecting Journey. The music ranges from 70's through current.
It is hard to get the photos through the scrim, the video is better - but I'd appreciate credit for the photo since you posted it (thanks!) Denise/Mousesteps
We posted three videos - including the one from the speaker. It was taken from the chicken exit area after the ride. The music sounded the same to me in the post-show area, but we didn't record it.
We rode twice yesterday - once it wasn't audible at all in the queue area, the other time it was quite loud.
It was also pretty loud in the post show, which didn't fit well (to me) with the feel of that area.
The audio is ours that we have on YouTube - personally I was unimpressed with it, but I can't stand techno music either. Considering that Disney has the technology for on board music, that is what I'd have expected.
It didn't ruin my ride but it didn't enhance it either.

I was the one who took the Mousesteps pics/video - I was very happy to actually see them doing concrete now! Supposedly they are adding more leaves to the tree, so they might not have been so orange before. Somewhere I have pictures of it from the final day of the play area.

I drink very little soda anymore - but when I first bought the mugs, I did (back in the 90's). At that time, the cashiers happily told everyone to bring the mugs back on future visits. That is not the case now, but it was then - I bought several, including from the Contemporary and WL (and the...
Italy has decorations, I did not go into Tutto Italia, but it's less decorated as you get into the pavilion itself.
There are plants where the train should be in the US. There was at least a wreath or something in Canada. No doves at this point, no arches, no train set.
The wreath has been up for a week, the Mary Blair gingerbread display for a number of days (I put them both on my website last week). The gingerbread display is nice, though I think it clashes with the mural behind it (and they light it up too harshly at night).
I asked a manager, and he said they hoped to have the topiaries up this weekend (he crossed his fingers on that one) and said they should have been up last weekend. Who knows if anything will really go up.
I did see one guy walking where the arches would be, and looking surprised that they...
I will make one suggestion - cut it down significantly. Be succinct and get to the point quicker. I can't imagine that anyone at Disney will read it in full.
I'd cut it down to a few short paragraphs - and you can get the point across pretty easily.
That was really surprising to me as well. The Lights of Winter has a lot of meaning to me, and I was not expecting to see them just sitting outside looking like they were in a junkyard.
