    Masks at WDW

Then you must also be a strong advocate for bans on alcohol, cigarettes, cars, sugar, and fast food. Because those, too, cause great damage to public health- and often to the health of innocent others, like unborn babies and even children who feel the effects of their parents’ poor nutritional...

    Masks at WDW

Which cases were thrown out of court? There are many, many cases still pending regarding shutdowns. We only wish the legal system could work as quickly as you imply. While the government does have some power to forcefully close businesses, there are strong arguments about the arbitrary nature of...

    Disney Springs Mask Enforcement

Just read about the order. It’s not being enforced with fines. Mayor just asks for “voluntary compliance.” Masks are also only required when six feet of distance can’t be maintained. So looks like they can mostly be chin decorations.

    Disney Springs Mask Enforcement

Maybe that’s the idea, but as we know from experience, many people aren’t complying with the mask requirement. Mask compliance requires a collective mentality- that we are somehow responsible for everyone else. A lot of people disagree with that mentality and will not comply without force- which...

    Disney Springs Mask Enforcement

I really don’t understand why we (businesses, the government) can’t just devote resources to making and distributing N95s to people who want them. Then all of this “Others have a responsibility to protect me” goes away. People who want protection can wear the N95s, taking the responsibility off...

    Disney Springs Mask Enforcement

I do. I feel very lucky. I hope things open up soon in the UK for those who want to travel and vacation. Being isolated is tolerable for a short time, but the negative mental and emotional effects of long-term shutdowns can be devastating for some.

    Disney Springs Mask Enforcement

The mask requirement may not exclude your kids, but surely you understand that your kids are not just exactly like all other kids in the country, right? Have you seen all the comments from parents that their kids cannot tolerate masks? Have you listened to them? Or have you just dismissed...

    Disney Springs Mask Enforcement

Th The poor kids have been effectively excluded by the mask rule. I’ll bet the Lego Store hates the rule. It is probably costing them a lot of money.

Thanks! I’ll check these out. We did an escape room in Atlanta and had fun with it.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

No way to know. Communication from Disney has been dismal. I’ve gotten more Covid-19 communication from companies with whom I’ve never done business than I have from Disney, with whom I’ve spent tens of thousands.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I’ve still got nothing at all from them. Not one word of communication. Not for June. Not for July. And my resort reservations and fastpasses for June and July are still in the system- and my dining reservations are still there for July.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

That’s odd. Every resort I’ve checked other than Disney and Universal have masks required for employees and optional for guests. Disney and Universal are anomalies, as far as I’ve seen. Maybe you aren’t looking at Southern beach resorts? Or other resorts in Orlando? There seem to be plenty of...

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

Haven't found any public spaces in Georgia or Tennessee that require them for anyone except employees- except for doctor's offices. And we have been a lot of places: restaurants, parks, retail, gyms . . . Many places in Florida don't require them, either, according to a friend who lives at the...
