    Coast-to-Coast Disney 2011 Trip Report: Mme. & M. Bricker's Zany Holiday

Not really a snow fan. I mean it is nice for a month at the most, but after that I am done! Then it stays for 3 or 4 more months. One of the reasons we visit WDW every year. You are right about the travel freedom, I am so glad we had that time together before we had kids. I will admit...

    1st time to Disneyland?

I think so, I am new to this. Not sure if it is worth the money for it.

    1st time to Disneyland?

Oh that is true, I think we are still over 60 days out (62 I think.) Those are all places I was thinking about too. I have heard mixed reviews on Ariels. Are you doing the seating package with it??? I have so much to learn about DL.

    Shuttle to or around Disneyland

On the same note, does anyone know what the car seat laws or for CAL. In MI our oldest is 10, the youngest will be 7. I would rather not tote a boaster if we don't need it.

    1st time to Disneyland?

cdatkins, can I ask where you are eating???? I was thinking about that. I originally wanted to eat at blue bayou, but was reading the New Orlens cafe is cheaper and good. I want to try the beignets. We will be celebrating DD's birthday and our anniversary, so we might do a few nice meals...

    1st time to Disneyland?

Thank you Zoe! I figure July/Aug is going to be hot almost anywhere (including at even at home.) This spring and winter has been so cold, I could use some HOT right now anyway. DH doesn't really like crowds and situations where he doesn't know what he doing. On the other hand he LOVES...

    Shuttle to or around Disneyland

We will be staying at DH's cousins for the 2nd half of our trip, and they have to work so they won't be able to take us back from the airport (but as it turns out can pick us up at LAX and take us to DL because we arrive on a Sunday.) That might be a great choice for us. Thanks for the...

    1st time to Disneyland?

I have heard that. We were able to get the airfare today, from Delta. We had some prices issues that caused stress, but in the end we got 4 tickets from DTW (Detroit) non stop to LAX, the dates and times we wanted. $320 per person. Getting from DTW to any other airport in the area is not cost...

    Coast-to-Coast Disney 2011 Trip Report: Mme. & M. Bricker's Zany Holiday

That is true, the winters are a lot harder up there. The summer are so beautiful. We just need to escape to warm and sunny Florida every winter. I wish we could go a few times a winter like we did when the kids were younger, but it is too hard to take them out of school now.

    1st time to Disneyland?

Can I piggy back on this thread??? Newbie to DL, but done WDW many times. We are planning our 1st trip to DLR in just a few months (Aug 1st.) We hope to stay at DL hotel, or Grand Californian DVC (but I highly doubt the DVC wait list will come through. We were thinking of doing 2 or 4...

    Shuttle to or around Disneyland

Do they charge round trip or one way? We will be going from LAX to DLR, but then staying with family for a few days and heading back to the airport from there. Do they pick up from other places then DL, or should we use a taxi to get back to the airport?

    Coast-to-Coast Disney 2011 Trip Report: Mme. & M. Bricker's Zany Holiday

I often wonder why we live in MI, at least for about 7 months of the year. :veryconfu Nope can't do that. The pictures are just too darn good. They insipre my husband and I. We got a Cannon Rebel last year and are still learning to use it. I love your trip reports too, it reminds me of...

    Coast-to-Coast Disney 2011 Trip Report: Mme. & M. Bricker's Zany Holiday

Staying at Villas versus the main lodge at WL

Oh, back when we bought at VWL there was a big stink about how the DVC people could use the main pool, but the WL resort guests were not to use the Villa pool. We have not stayed there since 2004, so it might of changed, but back when it just opened it was policy. I am guessing because it was...

What is the worst souvenir you've ever bought @ WDW?

We have the same problem with resort mugs. We used to collect one from every reosrt we stayed at. We used to use them daily. They don't make the same size anymore, and ours did the same thing. The glaze wore off, and the color would come off on your hands. Very disappointing.
