Assuming they have the kinks worked out/everything's up the whole day and there's no rain, that sounds like a good plan.
I'd consider a lesser backup in case that falls apart due to circumstances beyond your control - sounds like that might be what the second day's for?
We know it's not, though.
Reviews aren't scientific polls. The mix is never "proper" which is why fewer always lead to sketchy results.
I'm not saying I think the Google review scores are artificially low. Plenty of those recent 5 star reviews seem dubious at best, too if you read through some...
Yes, I'm sure it's a full time job. They do it for the other two parks that both have over 100k Google reviews, too asking for people with negative reviews there to reach out to customer service so they can try to "make it right". Both of those have averages of 4.7 stars so it's not like they're...
If we were talking scientific polling with representative samples, I'd agree - just a thousand would be plenty - but that's not what this is so I don't understand how it possibly could be.
I guess I could have tossed "self selecting representation" in there but I don't see you make mention of my primary point which was the gap between Google and TripAdvisor (where I did the crazy all caps thing) which comes in with an average roughly 50% lower and 85% fewer reviews to base that...
Just a reminder there aren't enough people who've yet left reviews for them to be statically of any value.
The Google reviews have 3.9 out of 5 with a total of 1,989 reviews. That's not a quarter of a single day's attendance.
The far worse Trip Advisor at 2.1 is based on ONLY 304...
The theme of the Yoshi ride is essentially Yoshi's Island with the baby Mario and other characters.
It's a "dark ride" that is largely outdoors and makes double-duty of the scenery of the entire Mario Land as a backdrop for major parts of it but even outdoors, has ride specific elements.
It's...
Yeah, I'm just talking stuff to make the place not look abandoned.
Star Wars is full of droids and aliens and the land has basically none of either (this was a big failing of the Star Cruiser, too - save the dinner show - IMHO). They pitch it like you're going to this alien world in another...
The Potter spaces are full of shops and restaurants and have the interactive elements with the wands. The new one at Epic does feel excessive but that's because one side was built to accommodate the entrance to a phase two attraction on an expansion pad behind it.
you weren't the one making...
And this is the problem in Orlando. People are paying more to get there, more to get into the parks and then dealing with these waits. Across the board, that seems unacceptable to me, especially with newer attractions that are often only a couple of minutes long.
You literally have time in line...
To me, GE feels more like a backlot with a couple of attractions on one side than a themed land.
There's lots of buildings and static stuff taking up space but there's nothing going on with most of it. There's really nothing to do but walk past most of what's there. I feel like they could have...
I mean that's the question, right? Do they repurpose a theater that's used mostly for overflow queue for Hagrids today (best candidate in terms of size) or shove it in one of the other two spaces that don't have the same capacity (the one in Toon Lagoon would probably be the easiest to get away...
Yes, I know you were clearly pointing to the show. I was clearly pointing to how Universal semi-regularly does temporary things to take advantage of what is currently popular or to temporarily promote something not meant to last.
Sorry if I lost you, there.
A show in a general use theater can...
Seriously?
You're really going to go this way with it and pretend like you don't know what I mean?
Fine, we'll say "semi-permanent' or perhaps "long-term" by which I mean, intended to not be temporary or short-lived.
I would call a takeover of the Hello Kitty store and a green...
