It taking place during the first act of the film does not preclude them from emphasizing the animal aspect more. They are not beholden to book reporting the movie if they don’t want to and everything they have announced thusfar says they aren’t.

Piston Peak is a part of Frontierland. Disney has been exceptionally clear about this.

I don’t personally count Sky School in this conversation, funnily enough. Objectively it is a coaster, like all wild mice are, but I also sort of look at wild mice as a different beast from most coasters. As for Incredicoaster, yes it’s loved for sure but I don’t think that really saves it...

Maybe they don’t market it because it isn’t very good. It’s one of the worst coasters Disney’s got in America and certainly the worst of their actual thrill coasters.

I don't think it's very fair to compare the 80s and 90s (especially the 60s) to now. Attendance has increased massively since then, not to mention the movement of guests and what they expect or demand is very different.

I would not be shocked to see them plop this down into Disney Adventure World at some point actually. In a lot of ways that's DCA's sister park, and I expect that relationship to continue since they're sort of undertaking similar goals with each.

The trade off to that though is it's gonna make the entrance to FL even more of a chokepoint than it already is, just like Orbitor does to TL at Disneyland.

The reason I think FL first is less disruptive than TL first is because TL just has more to eat people than FL does. BTM being down yes has shown some noticeable impact on the rest of the park, but imagine what things would look like if Space, Buzz, MILF, PeopleMover, Astro Orbitor, Speedway...
