Projections seemed better (makes sense with the technology upgrades), but just lacked emotion for me. I'm sure it'll have more "feel" in person (or at least I hope). I think the build ups were better in HEA. It just appeared to be the same show, except they already used all the best songs. 🤷🏻♀️
I had this exact same, puzzled feeling. The only thing that remotely felt like Epcot to me was the varying languages. And even then... how superficial is that? I'm sure it'll be fun to see with the family in person, but way too much "glitter" to stand the test of time IMO.
While I tend to agree, I'd also note that Disney is pretty stellar in the food allergy department. I would imagine they'd have ways to accommodate your needs.
So many similar feelings. I've grown up loving Disney trips, and passing that along to my kids. But it just feels so one-sided anymore 😔
and sadly... I'd probably make it worse by paying for the services out of force. But it would likely be a last trip, or at least cause a very long break.
