Uber for 2 is a great thing. When it's 8, it becomes much more complicated (and costly). That's where DME was great for our party. Simple to plan and just roll with the start to the trip.
Location initially looked like something that will camouflage like a speaker. But it does seem a little larger than that. Would be happy to be wrong and have an outdoor AA though
The size only matters in that earlier times seem to be available for smaller parties. Maybe it's just been hard luck of the draw for us, but nearby times have been hard to find with the larger party. Really looking forward to being a party of 2 someday...
If you don't mind my asking, what was the party size? Every time we have been since Genie, it's been party of 6 or 7 and that's where it has gotten complicated. It's a pain breaking into 3 and 4 to try and get the times a little earlier.
What I'm curious about is if it's an intended or unintended consequence. Earlier entry, longer waits, and maybe people stick around the parks longer and spend more.
I think one of the biggest problems the 7 AM system causes is a growth in the number of rope droppers. You're already up at 7, may as well go to the parks now. Thus eliminating some of the benefit of rope dropping and making the crowds larger earlier.
I know that I'm not who you were asking, but as someone who recently went with a party of 7 there were many drawbacks. The biggest issue we ran into was the time you'd see for an attraction would change from what was originally shown to some other time as soon as we checked our party numbers in...
