Pre-Trip The Trip I've (literally) labored for...

We landed at about 1:30PM. We got our luggage and onto the Magical Express in record time. However, the ride to our resort was loooonggg…. We were the very last stop. Harrison wasn’t super pumped and we’d exhausted all available snacks by the time we finally got to the hotel. James and I both...

Slight Detour - Pre-trip 1st Birthday Celebration: Prepping for the Mouse! Photos are too cute not to share, but I'm probably biased because he's mine 😜 On Saturday, August 29th, my sweet baby boy turned 1 year old 😭 and we celebrated of course with a low key, immediate family only...

    Grocery delivery vs. Resort store

We used Amazon PrimeNow to have groceries delivered and it blew pricing from Instacart and definitely Garden Grocer out of the water!! Very easy. Because of Covid, although it is likely a permanent change, Bell Services will not deliver any packages directly to your room, you must be present for...

Do they Still have Mouse Ears with Custom Name on back?

Can confirm, they offer several fonts and thread colors but do still offer the same classic font and gold thread of the original ears my mom has from her first trip to Disneyland and the same as my first trip pair of ears from WDW in the 80s. Bought the identical ears with identical embroidery...

OK so EPIC failure on my part trying to do a trip report semi-live-ish..... Lesson Learned: The road to you-know-where and the road to taking a very active one year old to WDW (in the midst of a global pandemic, after taking on a new role at work) are both coincidentally paved with good...

I’m wordy, y’all. Sorry not sorry! 🤪 Plan A: Kumbaya at the beach! But first, Sidestory: The Dumpster Fire!! (Disclaimer: Absolutely no shame in anyone else’s life choices! Everyone’s life path is beautiful and amazing in its own way!) If there is bad luck to be had, Abbie has had it. How...

Jambo! As a lifelong Disney fanatic (this will be trip ~57 to WDW, plus 1 incredible trip to DLP for my 30th birthday, and a trip to DL when I was 6 months old) I have dreamed of the day when I would be able to stroll into the Magic Kingdom with my own child. Fast forward to August 29, 2019...

    When would you go??

We really enjoy early August, if you can stand to take a chance with some of the typical Florida weather. The crowds are very low. The last two years, the weather has been beautiful, with little to no humidity, although there's no promise that it won't be 95F and 100% humidity next year...

5th Park Opening in Time for WDW's 50th (Jim Hill)

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that type of 'boutique' experience what they were going for with the Disney Institute?? We all see how well that went. Maybe a sea experience ala Discovery Cove, but then again, there's already Discovery Cove for that. What else could there be?

5th Park Opening in Time for WDW's 50th (Jim Hill)

Sometimes, seeing what interesting clothing/swimsuit choices some people make, I think we already have a "Nude Kingdom" following at the waterparks..... :lookaroun "Butt-floss" stuck in between some lady's cellulite ridden thighs....:hurl: (Yes, I'm a woman, don't flame me. I dress for...
