Last week was my first trip to MK since the island was removed. I was a little surprised at how much space there is for the cars land. They have a lot of space to work with which in my mind doesn’t mean they need to shoehorn anything. It will be interesting to watch the next 2 months how much...

Curious as I am not well versed in construction, anyone able to explain the purpose of the different layers used in the coasters floor? If I remember there was an initial layer of cement(?) followed by conduit covered by sand then another layer of cement which now appears will be covered again...

Was there yesterday as well. The worksite has what appears to be a decent plateau in the middle where those storage containers are. I agree, also first time seeing it with walls up, that’s a large area for scrim if it’s the whole boardwalk. Hope I heard him wrong as I would expect that would want to move on to the next thing.

I do agree the parks need walk up or nearly walk up attractions (and as a parent with young ones, I feel that’s nearly all I ride now). MK still has plenty of those with people mover, IASW, COP, MILF, WDWRR, tiki room, Prince Charming carousel, dumbo, speedway, little mermaid, pirates, carpets...
