Not sure if it was related to the shutdown/downtime, but I rode this afternoon about 5:15 and there was no narration at all – just score. Made for a decidedly lackluster experience, particularly after waiting 90+ minutes. Today was our last day in the parks, otherwise I would have visited...

We will be in the parks next week, and we are choosing MVMCP over Jollywood, and probably a good idea, because I'm gonna guess that lines to meet Chewie in the Life Day outfit will take up a sizable potion of the evening. And I would be in that line for sure.

I think they first need to solve the dilemma of the "screws in plastic courtyard" and its associated lighting problems first before announcing any new major projects.

A tunnel/diorama setting also allows them to have the trains for a coaster pass over such a tunnel, and extend out over the boundary of the railroad if they need/want to do that. Could be fun to pass over a rocky outcropping and out into a forbidden forest, of sorts...

At the very least, they should have a panel discussion with Imagineers where they can go into a little more detail, like some of the decision-making behind the location choices for new attractions. They *could* do that; they just are choosing not to. Honestly, some of the more interesting...

Looking very forward to the tacky, "fake asphalt," minimal-budget, off-the-shelf wild mouse coaster/Dino carnival being replaced by a lush tropical jungle with a true traditional dark ride, something that DAK can use more of and something that makes much more operational sense in oft-rainy...

Yep, removing that building in the middle opens up a whole "town square" setting that could be charming and create new places to just hang out and vibe. Could end up being a really nice addition.

About the name of the attraction not changing: I would imagine that as they have some brand identity in the existing name, that's why they kept it. Personally, and given what the new ride seems to emphasize, I would have suggested a simple change to "Tech Track." But I also believe that any name...

If Piston Peak is indeed better than RSR, it will become a global must-ride destination. RSR, particularly in the evening, is among the finest attractions ever created by Imagineering. Kinda surprised that RSR never got the "Behind the Attraction" treatment — it certainly deserves it.
