    in response to mousekeeping

I dunno - I leave a minimum of $5/night, up to $20/night if I'm in a suite. These people work long, hard hours, and I feel they deserve my thanks. Also, I leave a tip each day, because you don't necessarily have the same person each day. I look at tipping for service as part of the cost of...

Ruh-oh...is someone trampling on our fond memories of the past?? :fork:

    Disneyland 1965

It's Skull Rock from Peter Pan, before the Fantasyland overhaul (1980, methinks?). I vaguely remember it from my first trips to DLR as a young boy. See this link from Yesterland: http://www.yesterland.com/skullrock.html

    Bed Bugs at WDW

No - you need RID spray. You can get it at any drug store. Bedbugs are a problem anywhere you go - even in the nicest/most expensive hotels. I wouldn't loose too much sleep over it though (pun intended).

    Matterhorn Bobsled Basketball Court

It's above the rollercoaster portion of the mountain, with stairs that wind up to the top where Tink launches. It's pretty cool.

    Nemo Touring Tips?

After 9 pm it's usually pretty short. We only waited about 25 minutes. It goes pretty quick since they dispatch in wolf packs. Also keep in mind that the old subs queue area is now the grouping area. So once you pass under the sign you're almost on board.

    Carsland--A Good Idea??

I get the sense that it's getting its own land by nature of the size of the main attraction. Personally I'm really looking forward to it - particularly the flying hubcap attraction! And honestly, anything is an improvement for DCA. It will be great to see some more Disney-level attractions...

LAX/SNA to Disneyland then to Long Beach Port then back to LAX/SNA

Sounds like a mix of Disney transportation and Super Shuttle will be your cheapest option.

    Considering DL Trip

Except for the aromas of stale booze, vomit, and hot trash, it's a very close facsimile! :ROFLOL:

    Considering DL Trip

The DL Hotel and PP Hotel are like Disney-themed Hiltons. Nothing special. In fact, DL Hotel I heard is going to be gutted and rebuilt so it's more of a Disney hotel in quality. We stayed at the Grand and absolutely loved it. Our room faced Grizzly Peak, and we had breakfast on the balcony...

    Death on EE

It seems like any time there's an incident at a theme park or carnival, no matter the owner, the press likes to bring up accidents that happened at a Disney theme park. Fact of the matter is, it's one of the safest places you can vacation.

    Death on EE

That debate in Congress was already shut down. But personally, I'm a lot more worried about traveling fairs than a permanent park like Disney or Universal. That's where more of the operator-preventable incidents occur. Like most things, they're underfunded and understaffed. And, much...
