I have heard from a well placed source at the Walt Disney Company that this is part of a three step process. This is the most up to date plan that Disney currently has. 1) Close the clubs down 2) ???????? 3) Profit As you can see, they have finished step one already.

Its true that the Carousel of Progress is closing. However, its not due to an Incredibles themed attraction. Its closing as part of a Bold New Vision for Tomorrowland to feature more shopping and dining options.
