Really??? Octopus is delicious when prepared correctly. What the heck is up with these idiots nowadays? That comment was NOT directed at you @DisneyHead123!
While I would personally not have an issue with what he is wearing, you can bet that a lot of people will be judging and commenting on it - even though not directly to him.
Only those that have either purchased 150 points directly from Disney or those resale members that are grandfathered in. Must have the DVC blue card, which would indicate a Y on your phone. They have checked in the past to ensure only authorized people can access it.
So for us, the Disney bubble has changed a bit. When we would fly in, we loved the Magical Express and used it for every trip. The bubble started at our local airport and ended at the local airport. Now that we live in Florida, we drive there so the bubble starts when we get to our resort. Being...
Western Way was really bad around 5:30 yesterday. And then a few idiots on the turnpike going north decided to have a 4 car pile up, blocking both lanes in the construction area, and our normal 2 - 2 1/2 hour trip took almost 4 hours last night!
Well, to be honest - we do resort only stays as well. Since we visit so often, we don't feel the need to go to the parks all the time - not because we don't like them - but because when we vacation there, it is a vacation - not a forced march through the parks. You have to also understand that...
We have used the lounge at EPCOT quite a few times, and it is a relaxing respite from the park. We don't really care about the free snacks, though we do avail ourselves of the free soft drinks.
We have been DVC members for over 18 years now. The one and only thing that we were promised when we...
Beloved experience??? Every time we would walk by it, it was totally empty with no one there at all.
So saying that, do I agree with what they did? Even though I am a DVC member, I don't agree with it. If they wanted to do something with it, change it to another attraction or quick service...
We have also done resort only trips. After so many visits, we just don't feel the need to commando a park anymore and might pop in, do a few attractions, then head back out or hop to a different park. We treat it more like a vacation that a forced march!
To add to what @nickys said - first - I would not go in August unless you have to. The heat is just crazy. We have been DVC for 18 years now (and love it) and go around February for the Arts Festival, March for the Flower & Garden (it's also our anniversary month), and then Sept/Oct/Nov for Food...
