We have stayed there several times, the last time being during Christmas. I requested a room close to the lobby and was the first building out the door in a corner room which was awesome. The resort is small and compact with great bus service. They pick up here first before going to Riverside...

We go with our 2 children every year the last 2 weeks of August because that is the only time we can go. It is very hot but if you plan well it is alot of fun. Crowds were not that bad...use fp...swim in the afternoons...and carry rain ponchos and it will be a blast.

We always go in August so alot of water is needed. I agree that the water from the fountains tastes nasty so we buy water bottles with filters before we leave to go down. They are like 16.00 and its a bottle with a filter built in so we can refill them at the fountains or put ice in them and...

Don't feel bad--I just did the same thing only a little worse. I just dropped $1800. on annual passes for the whole family. Wouldn't change it for anything though:D

I'm not sure about the deluxe resorts or any of the other ones and what is available but for the discount I would call back and talk to someone else. As soon as I found out about this I called and they changed mine with no problem. We are booked Dec. 21st - Jan 3rd and they adjusted the rate...

That is the exact stroller we used on our last trip and it was wonderful. It was a little heavy getting on and off the bus but well worth it for the comfort and storage space. I would definately use the one you have it makes for an easier day.:animwink:

We went last August for the mid 2 weeks and absolutely loved it. It is VERY hot but if you go with a good plan it can be wonderful. We are going back again this year for the 1st two weeks. I don't particularly like it that hot but we went out in the mornings and were back at the hotel...

We went in August and had a blast. My husband had as much fun as the kids.

We went in August with our 6 and 3 year olds and we all had a blast. The fireworks were some of the best we've ever seen. It's definately worth checking out.

Guilty!! I cry when I watch fireworks at the castle for the first time on a trip there and sometimes when I'm watching my children watch the parade and fireworks. Definately cry the last night in Magic Kingdom before going home. I'm a marshmallow:cry:
