There is a reason Imagineering was "fighting" on who got to bring this to Florida and in what park... Its ride system is amazing with incredible possibilities for other IPs.

Let me throw this at you too... The Chicxulub crater, which is believed to have destroyed the dinosaurs is in the Yucatán Peninsula, which some say influenced the mythology of the indigenous Mayan of that region, blaming the crater on their Rain God. (This is very Wiki research, please forgive)...

I haven't heard anything specific either...other than the rumor from some that an omnimover is being considered for high capacity and low downtime. But it could be any system ultimately.

Encanto House, if the rumored Omnimover system is correct, will allow 2000+ riders per hour which is way more than the estimated 900 per hour Primeval Whirl allowed. New technology for the Indy ride will mean less breakdowns like on Dinosaur. Plus the draw of an evergreen IP...I'm sorry...will...

The culture and region also matter in the vision of the park...And that part can take center stage in an attraction. Kali River Rapids for instance, has no direct animal connection. And that was a Day One attraction at AK. Indy's ride may have to do with a mythological creature from the region...

The Encanto Home, if it is an Omnimover, would be a bigger people eater than Primeval Whirl. So that helps.

His connection would be via the culture and history of the region and preserving it. That is part of Joe Rohde's AK mission. Thats why a ride about adventurers investigating the Yeti exists in Asia. It celebrates the mythology and culture of the region.
