Trip Report Loco’s sweaty summer adventures(of the seas).

July 23 continued. There was a drawing class starting soon. We hopped on the wildlife express in hopes of making in in time. Unfortunately we ended up missing the animation class. The good news is someone from the railroad found my chair 😉. We still made sure to go see our friends at the...

July 23 continued. The park was celebrating a special birthday! It had been a while since we’d walked the Maharaja Jungle Trek. The newest tiger, Basko, was reason enough for us to return. He’s grown a lot in 10 months! The young male was very active in the early morning. Mom was having...

July 23 We were up super early to try to make early entry for Animal Kingdom. We arrived at the bust stop at 6:45(early entry was at 7:30), and a bus arrived quickly. It’s a good thing we boarded the bus early, because our driver took a wrong turn and headed for MK! He said he usually drives...

It’s not my cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean it’s not for everyone. Most of the food they serve is very common where we live, for significantly less money. I’m sure it’s very good, but it doesn’t move the needle for me. Different strokes for different folks!

July 22 continued. Dinner was at an old favorite in Italy. Pro tip : order the giant pizza to have breakfast for several days afterwards. 😉 We were seated in the main room next to the window. After dinner we were both ready to head back to the room for the night. We did stop at the cake...

It was definitely a stressful trip down. I didn’t even mention the turbulence! 🤣 It’s one of our favorite things to do! I just wish it was easier to get to. I’m hoping they include this in the revamped animation experience at DHS that was just announced.

I agree with Em’s assessment of web slingers. It’s just ok. Clearly it’s designed to be the “B” attraction in that land. It also is exhausting for your arms!

Trip #2 July 22-27, 2025 Day one. Believe it or not, we actually flew down to Orlando this time(loco does not always drive). Our flight was scheduled for 9 AM departure from Dallas Love Field. Our inbound plane arrived from Atlanta just a few minutes late and we were instructed to line up...

    1. I believe it was A. I have no short game! 2. After 7 nights with the drink package, the coco locos weren’t making me even poco loco. 😂

One last cruise post. We had one sea day between Cabo Rojo and our final port. We’d planned on seeing the ice skating show the night before, but the rough seas prohibited them from being able to perform. Luckily they’d calmed a bit by the next afternoon. I never really know what the story is...

More from Aruba Final stop was Eagle Beach. The water was so pretty here and the sand was the best I’ve ever walked on. Fluffy without being sticky. There was no wave break here, so selfies could be a challenge. 😉 After about an hour of playing at the beach we had to head back to the port...

More from Aruba. Next up was the natural bridge area. The large natural bridge rock formation sadly collapsed back in 2005. There is a smaller bridge still standing. You are not allowed onto the bridge for obvious reasons. The ocean provides a cool breeze in this arid region. Next...

Port #2. We didn’t have far to sail for our second port. Stop number one was Casibari rock formation. A rare rock formation on a pretty flat island. Would I make through the tunnel on the way up? Sure would. There were some nice views from up top. The desert landscape in the middle of...
