Genie+ for Epcot with Extended Evening Hours?

I don't think Genie+ is needed. I honestly have never used Genie+ for Epcot even with just normal hours. Test Track will be closed starting later this month, so you have to factor that in. You can join the virtual queue for Guardians for free. Plus with extended hours you can join the...

Disney Itinerary | Feedback Appreciated !!

Your plans are way too specific in terms of times but I understand it is more of an outline. I wouldn't purchase Genie+ for Animal Kingdom since you are only going to be there for half the day. Animal Kingdom doesn't need Genie+ even for a full day. Rope drop FoP, then to Na'vi followed by...

First trip to WDW from France

We traveled to Disneyland Paris May 2023. I think it is the most beautiful Disney Park in terms of landscaping compared to the US parks. I always carry a small amount of a narcotic with me when traveling due to multiple kidney stones in the past and didn't have a problem or get questioned by...

    Biergarten (2024)

We ate there December 2023. Party of five, we had our own table.

A trip for later in the year question

We have gone in December past 4-5 years and maintenance of rides are rarely down that time of year for an extended period (we saw none down this past December - Splash was still being reimagined which is different from maintenance). That being said, Test Track will be closed starting in July...

    EPCOT Day Remy/GOTG

Make sure your MyDisney Experience is updated first and your party is correct. Prior to 7 am, scroll down and click "Join Virtual Queue." Next will pop up Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Click on Epcot. You will then see Guardians listed. You can even "practice" this now. Then a few minutes...

    EPCOT Day Remy/GOTG

Rope Drop Remy. You are entering Epcot through the International Gateway Entrance. It is literally the closest attraction. Get the Virtual Queue for Guardians. Depending how old your kids are, they can get on their cell phones and help you get virtual queue for Guardians. I find you don't...

    Rope Drop for Hollywood Studios

If you are staying on Disney property, the parks open 1/2 hour prior. You didn't mention where you are staying. We tend to get to the bus stop 75 minutes prior to park open (so if park opens to onsite guests at 7:30 am, we are normally at the bus stop by 6:15 am). That way you are guaranteed...

how early do morning busses go to animal kingdom from the resorts?

Take the bus. If Animal Kingdom opens at 8 AM that day, it will open to on property guests at 7:30. In my experiences, the buses start an hour before hand so should be running at 6:30 am. Be out at the bus stop by 6:15 am and you should be fine.

    Momma Melrose

We eat there every year. Food and service is always good. Can't say I ever had a bad meal there. Place is always crowded. I enjoy the atmosphere as well. Definitely better than OG.

Which hotel is best for our needs - Contemporary or Polynesian?

I would recommend the Contemporary. If you don't want to walk back and forth to the Contemporary, you can take the monorail there. After the park closes, majority of people will be using the monorail that takes them to the TTC. The resort monorail lines will be much shorter. One thing to...

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train vs TRON Lightcycle / Run

Tron. I love roller coasters. SDMT to me is a good first roller coaster for young ones or for adults who don't normally like roller coasters. Tron has more thrills and speed.

Go with a deluxe resort - location, location, location. Plus better dining options.

The pains of Band Parenthood with Disney Millennial

Another opinion is if you are only going to have him miss one day of school, say he is sick and send an excuse online, case closed. Technically if he isn't in school for a day, then he cannot participate in all after school sponsored activities for that day. Schools around us allow parents to...
