I’ve stopped on the backward tilt before but the last time I rode my 11 year old and I got stopped on the “upside down footstep stairs” area which was both boring and infuriating for a purist like myself. (Translation: Nostalgic Gen X’er)

I think it also has to do with crowd management. Lines are people eaters and without them you have a lot more people throughout the park. On my last trip SM and BTMRR both broke down on a 10/10 crowd day and you could barely move around without those two lines managing people.

Count me in on the unpopular opinion that price needs to catch up to demand. If you’re concerned about people being left out, I’m all for having a few discounted weeks when you can pay less if you don’t mind the insane crowd. Otherwise, I’m actually in favor of raising prices across the board.
