I actually read the entirety of the thread.. (thanks) and am aware it isn't "new news" just wanted to comment on what another user said with my own opinion.

If they "just" put them in but they are 40 years old where were these animatronics originally? I'm curious

I agree with this unpopular opinion. Inside out was wildly successful for them and loved by audiences of all ages. The journey into imagination ride is severely out of date and has an abandoned "no one cares enough to update me vibe".... Figment is a great character but realistically audiences...

I both enjoy and am intrugued by Audio Anamtronic figures and their history throughout the parks! So I wanted to make a place for other people to talk about them. I also noticed that today in Animal Kingdom's "It's Tough To Be A Bug" the Hopper animatronic was missing! Not, broken or unmoving...
