I would definitely call the recruiting office. I got an email just like that, called, and simply had to verify a few things that I made a mistake on. They still said it would take 2-3 weeks for a response, but I'm hopeful that it won't be that long. Maybe if you call you won't have to go through...

My interviewer said I would begin receiving more emails from the College Program, but I haven't received any in the 3 weeks (almost) since they received my application. Should I be worried?

I'm sure this will sound horribly inappropriate, but I'm just curous. Does Disney drug test any of its employees? I would hope they do...at least the attraction operators.

Okay, one more question then I'll stop. We're planning to be in Disney March 9-15. The F & G Festival starts on the 19th...would any of the lovely topiaries and stuff be set out? I would imagine they would have to start pretty early.

I know you have to purchase special tickets for the party, but if you are in the park before the party begins do they usher you out somehow? I'm just a little confused as to how to plan my trip in March...if I don't want to pay for the PP Party do I just need to avoid the Magic Kingdom on those...

The frat boys winning the castle suite is absolutely hilarious. I have no desire to win the fastpasses or Dream Ears, and will just hold out for the castle. They'll let you rent it out one day....for an arm and a leg, but I'll still do it.

Ok, I have no idea how the YOAMD prize selection works other than the randomly selected time and place. The back of my mind tells me that you're more likely to win a big prize, like a stay in the castle, if you are a typical family. Is there any validity to that completely unsubstantiated...

I'm still kicking myself for being too scared to ride AE the many times we went to WDW when I was a kid. Oh well, I rode SGE and it wasn't completely horrible I suppose.

Definitely a classic! Although I saw someone mention the removal of Alien, which would sadden me greatly. I want to be aboard the Nostromo with Sigourney Weaver. Screw Star Wars, it has its own ride.

Does anyone have any fun celebrity encounters or sighting while at WDW? Whether you were a cast member or a guest, please share! I personally have none.... Also, do celebrities generally go in the front gates like everyone else? For some reason, I find that incredibly equalizing and lovely.

And I actually allowed myself to get my hopes up...ah well. :cry:

I used to love the 'Ohana character breakfast, although I know it's changed drastically since I did it. The characters in grass skirts is a must.

Either World Showcase or Animal Kingdom needs to get a new attraction. Magic Kingdom is fine at the moment, and DHS sounds as if it already has several things brewing.
