That explains it. I couldn't imagine it would take months to get Sonny back to work. So bummed though. BTW, what does an elevator lift have to do with Sonny?

Perhaps he has been back (repaired), but they used his stage last week for an event??? The entire stage was hidden from view last Friday (1/30/15).

No. Definitely some major work going on. In August he was missing. Last week the entire stage was blocked from view.

Don't think it is worth it with one exception... In the winter, Animal Kingdom closes early and we decided to go to Hollywood Studios to see Fantasmic. Time passes so quickly, we always find ourselves not having enough time in the park we are in. Don't think I would get the park hopper passes again.

One of the things I always look forward to when visiting the Magic Kingdom with my daughter is lunch at the Starlight Cafe with the lounge singer Sonny Eclipse. Was down at the MK last August (2014) and was told he would be "back from vacation" within weeks. Went again to the MK last week...
