Marvel had a nice formula, but wanted to go the route everyone else was going, and it's failing them. Go back to being a kid again and think of what your 10 yr old self would want to see on the screen and make that.. within reason.
I do now remember a little of that, but it wasn't a make or break of the movies. The reason I forgot all about that is because I never see it mentioned anymore in any of the chats, videos yadda yadda.
We can go down a giant hypocritical rabbit hole of stereotypes if we wanted. But interms of the prequels since it has been brought up, yes I vaguely remember a little on the Asian aspect. But that was or isn't the reason why most individuals don't like(or aren't as fond of) the prequels. It...
Maybe Jar-Jar a bit, and I get it. However it's the wooden high school play dialogue that ruins the movies. Only the top quality actors like Liam and Ian could somewhat overcome. Also your number 2 and 3 reasons I've never heard anyone talk about. So In my opinion I don't think that would be...
Re-watched Dune part 1 for preparation for part 2. What a great movie, better than I remembered. (MAX)
Sleepless in Seattle (on some streaming channel I have.)
The Chosen series in the theaters

That's funny, I never put the ewoke wooke together lol. I do agree Jedi was more crisper. Growing up I usually just re-watched Jedi and only watched the others when I had too. The others are good, just liked Jedi a lot more when I was younger. Now I appreciate all of them.
Ewoks always have been a no go for me too. Your ranking is normal for most star wars fans. So I get the offness about Jedi(becauseof the Ewoks), but for me it just uplifted my favorite characters to new heights I guess. Also yeah I remember hearing that too about the wookies in Jedi.
The...
I think part of what makes ROJ resonate with fans is Luke being an actual Jedi. The hero's journey is fulfilled, the cool bad guy turns-saves his son while defeating the creepy boss guy. Well that's why I liked it
I honestly don't want to listen to a video game version of Mario's voice for 90 mins, so Pratt's voice is a welcomed one for me. On a whole though, this movie looks pretty awesome.
