So am I reading it correctly that you can purchase a pass then wait 11 monthsnwithout activating, then exchange that pass for a new purchase and then get another year to activate. Basically extending the date of expiration??

My guess would be you would need an adr to get in if there were to be a lounge. The demand will be too great to get in to just allow walk ins.

My hunch is that there will not be standby lines for future headliners like tron. I think the only two options will be either virtual queue or pay to ride.

I don’t really see what’s so complicated about it. You go to the park, you pull up the genie+ app, genie+ tells you what rides to go on in the lightning lane right now (or at a given time within the hour or so), you go on that ride/attraction. Then repeat the process through the day.

My i think it’s possible that all of the new headliner rides (tron, guardians) will be boarding groups or paid option, with no option to wait in line.

I don’t think it will be one pay per ride per park because they are allowing you to do 2 per day. So I would think at least 2 per park.

Today the CDC’s mask guidance is a “recommendation”. Not a mandate. So isn’t it likely that Disney can in turn just make a “recommendation” that people , vaccinated and/or unvaccinated wear masks indoors ? Which will basically be at the discretion of the individual.

Maybe the change that just occurred is to clarify how they will treat masks in theaters only. Because those are mass gathering with a lot of people close to each other indoors. Can be a differ policy for attractions with limited people in attraction vehicles like haunted mansion for example.

So does anyone think we will hear an announcement today out of Mayor Demmings lifting mandates? Then hear from an announcement from Disney after?

As long as there are no more masks in in doors in august when I go. 😊
