The attack in '86 happened on a playground in Fort Wilderness... close to the water, but the boy attacked wasn't actually in the water. I agree. This is tragic and finger pointing and speculation won't bring this boy back to life. Disney will undoubtedly take steps to try to avoid another...

No, it won't. But as @Laura said, it certainly does put a damper on all of the trip planning. And I don't think we're the only ones feeling this way. I was able to get some otherwise impossible reservations a day after the shootings. Slots just... suddenly opened up, much to Cast Members'...
