I am originally from Long Island, NY. We moved to Davenport, FL in 2018 due to the cost of living, beautiful weather, lessened hurricane probability (we are only effected by them if they come into the gulf) and of course, the proximity to Disney.
We are former annual pass holders for Disney World but may resume after COVID is over and if we see a marked improvement in Disney World operations and value for the money. We're not too happy with them right now. For now, we visit Disney Springs if we need our Disney fix.
