You know it’s bad when you’re told to temper your expectations because of a history of garbage marketing.
It’s normal to get excited for a “secret project”, I don’t think you can use Disney’s disappointing track record as a reasoning people are in the wrong for being hyped.
The amount of bait in this thread is way too high. Just wait for the announcement, unless someone comes out with an indication of what the announcement is actually going to be, their info is useless anyway.
As much as RotR seems like the signature experience, I think Smuggler's Run has a really strong identity which works really well for marketing. Plus the tech behind it is super cool.
Totally agree, it's kind of the Disney community way. At the end of the day, it's only a good thing that we get to experience most of the land for a good few extra months than if Disney waited for RotR, and the spreading of rushing opening day crowds is a bonus.
Goodness, some people really are miserable huh? RotR will be behind schedule with the rest of the land, so with everything else ready to go Disney will just want to get it open (because money, which is fine). I guarantee the people here complaining would also complain if the land was ready...
