I've done the same, and to be fair, a good 10 minutes of that call is talking to the awesome Disney staff about how much fun the trip is going to be LOL :joyfull:

The character meals and Ohana/hoop dee do take up two table service credits, just a FYI. And make sure you book those well ahead of time. We usually get the dining plan, and I've yet to be hungry when I'm there :) We actually usually have a bunch of snacks left over the last day.

Following, as we are looking at staying there too. Ive been to the resort, just not stayed there, and it is huge. We are factoring golf carts in, I wouldn't stay there without them, its just too spread out and the idea of taking the boat back to the resort (yay) and then having to cram on a bus...

I would (and have) go ahead and get the fast passes in advance. Especially for rides like Soarin and the toy story one. If you show up and want to cancel them, you can do that, but you can't book quite a few of them once it gets close to the trip, let alone the day of. And most of all, its not...
