So from now on, is Disney a franchise? Can anyone with enough money buy a Disney resort, regardless of where it’s located? The Japan model, but updated and taken to the extreme.
On the other hand, I wonder if Miral will dictate to Disney which IPs they want for their resort, and Disney will...
I visited TDR in 2012 and I remember even back then Western Railroad felt like an extremely outdated, boring ride that wasted an obscene amount of space. In general, TDR—exceptions aside—looked outdated next to the brand-new and splendid DisneySea. I’m glad they’re breathing new life into the...
Not impressed at all.
I'm not American, in my country SotS was never a problem. It was easy to find in videoclubs in the 80s and.90s. I watched it tons of times when I was a kid. I loved its iconic music and I loved the 3 Splash Mts with its "Tex Avery's feeling". I think they should just...
So Tiana never appears as Princess? It's so weird they made up this plot with food and species instead of use the story of the movie and Dr Facilier as villain.
When I was a kid Space Mountain De la Terre à la Lune (Disneyland Paris Jules Verne version). As adult Journey to the Center of the Earth (Disney Sea).
In American Parks TZToT in DHS.
I think "Disney Hollywoodland" would have been a better name (Disneyland Paris, Disney Hollywoodland and if they ever built a 3rd park, they should keep on "land" on it)? They could have built archs or gates (They don't have to be as expensive as Epic Universe' portals) of entry for each area...
If "Desert Land" ends up being real, what IPs could go there? Because if they rule out Cars, they don't have much left. Besides Woody, what other IP could they use? The Lone Ranger (That bombs,)?
Tell us which Disney IP you would like to have an attraction in the parks (and in which park and area). The more forgotten/obscure/outdated the IP, the better.
Mine would be a The Gummy Bears rollercoaster in Fantasyland
Same for the Avengers. One of the msot fanous IPs than have Disney but there is nothing more than a resking of a Coaster in Paris, based only in Iron Kan and Captain Marvel.
Unfortunately Disney has done such thing previously,. Galaxy's Edge: The terrible new trilogy wash chosen instead the Classic one. Mickey and Minnie RR, the new cartoon instead the standard Mickey Mouse. Even the cancelled Mary Poppins tea cups for Epcot were based on MP Returns instead on the...
In the past, Disney had no problem adding external IPs to create great rides in their parks: Indy, Star Wars, Twilight Zone... Given the underperformance of their latest movies, what external IPs might interest the company? Which ones would fit into their parks? Fox's IPs are also valid...
Unfortunately I think that the proposed WDS land based on The Lion King would be based on the live action cgi movies (Sequeles and spin-offs are coming) instead on the classic animation movie.
