DisneyDan put out his MuppetVision farewell video, but he did do some speculating on Muppet*Vision working at Sunset Showcase, such as the fact the Villains show using screens on the walls to do similar effects of the walls in Muppet Vision getting destroyed, and the fact that Sunset has almost...
I know they will probably remove it when they retheme the theater for Monsters, but it would be funny if this plank stayed in the queue, since it says Do Not Remove.
I mentioned it before when the closure was announced, but even with the film being preserved, it doesn't make up for all the cool details the whole Muppet area had. One of the things I loved about Muppet Vision wasn't just the show itself, but the entire building had plenty of details all around...
Oh dear, I just realized if they moved MuppetVision to the Magic Eye Theater, that would give Disney an excuse to turn Imagination into Muppet Labs with a Muppet IP crossover with Figment (which would be funny since Dave Goelz did voice Figment heh)
While moving Muppet Vision to Sunset would be ideal, another new Muppet feature they could do in that space could be an abridged version of the Muppet live shows they did at the Hollywood Bowl and the 02 a few years back (albeit without a guest star)
Funny thing about Blood In The Saddle apparently being cut is that it wouldn't be the first time: It was supposed to also be in the Country Bears movie. They filmed Big Al doing it but it got cut from the final film.
The only issue with trying to pick songs for Trixie and the Sun Bonnets is if the show stays at the 10-minute runtime, then if Trixie and the Sun Bonnets would still have to have a combined number to fit everyone in.
You know, with the bears singing Disney songs, there was one song that would have been perfect for Buff to sing...though it would fit a Halloween show more than the Musical Jamboree: The Headless Horseman song from Sleepy Hollow, especially since Thurl Ravenscroft sang a cover of it.
Well, new ones would make sense, with A.J. replacing Peter as Henry. I said it earlier, that with Pete as old as he is, maybe they want Henry's voice to be consistent between Musical Jamboree and any other new shows they put out in case Pete passes away before they make another one. (Makes me...
After thinking about it, I think Remember Me does fit Big Al. In the Christmas and Vacation shows, Al always lamented about his wife running off with his things like his truck, his dog, and his swiss army knife. Maybe singing Remember Me makes Al still get upset with his wife running off with...
At least the Bears will get some presence at DL, but surprised they aren't giving Pecos Bill's the same rename/retheme to go along with with the new show heh.
