Enjoy it!! I always feel like DLP is a different sort of excitement to WDW; obviously France feels much less exotic to a Brit than Florida, but I would argue that Disneyland Parc is more beautiful than Magic Kingdom and it's just nice to access some Disney magic closer to home.

I'll be the only one in my family to admit that I enjoy it. My Dad's far too keen to either get on the big rides or to get to his favourite restaurants and my sister is far too cool to admit that she enjoys a "baby ride", but I think my Mum appreciates the rides that the entire family can go on...

I'd say that generally Disney, Universal, Busch Gardens, etc. have spoiled all theme parks for me in the UK... As someone said earlier, Drayton Manor - our local theme park - would benefit from any of the quality and effort put into the parks... Alton Towers, arguably the UK's main theme park...

Like others have already said, it's very changeable. It also depends on where you're from - I'm from England, so there have been days in Florida at Christmas where it's shorts weather for us, but the locals viewed us as crazy.

In regards to the whole 'no texting' thing, I'd definitely encourage that. I'm a Disney obsessive teenager, and our latest trip was one that came about after me veto-ing every other holiday suggestion for years. However, I did find myself texting quite a bit, much to the annoyance of my parents...
