My youngest had just turned one a couple of weeks before our first trip with the kids. We were going to wait until she was around 4 or 5, but that would mean our oldest would have been 8 or 9 and we did not want him to wait that long. So, we decided to go, and out of all of our trips to WDW...

I've done all of those (most on other cruise lines) except for Trans Atlantic and the Med. As of now, Alaska was BY FAR my favorite! However, I have a DCL Med. cruise booked in 2013, so I will have to reevaluate after that!

Toy Story, Cars, and Nemo were favorites when my kids were that age. For princesses, I'd suggest some of the princess sing along dvd's. My daughter LOVED them, and that is how she became familiar with all of the princesses. She was not really able to sit through any of the full length...

I also love the smell for some reason:shrug:, and always look forward to it....and I am 100% certain we could not smell it on our last trip, which was the week after this past Thanksgiving. I noticed right away that it was missing.

When we got back to the ship, they were too far into our dinner to seat us. We were not happy campers since this was semi formal night and lobster night. They were able to find a table for two for us at the late seating, so it ended up working out. We got the kids some hotdogs up on deck...

We saw Orcas, Humpback whales, sea lions, and seals. And during one of our humpback sightings, a bald Eagle was circling right over us for several minutes. Words cannot describe this experience…..the entire boat got so quiet! Everyone was in awe, and I have to admit it made me a bit teary...

Thank you! Thanks! I really lucked out seeing those seals! The captain had mentioned we would be passing them later, but did not give a time, and did not announce it as we were passing them. I just happened to go out on our balcony exactly as we were passing them.
