Should I rope drop for FOP??

I went mid July this year (on a Friday I think - no EMH) and we rope dropped it. We were at the park entrance by about 7:30. We were at the Pandora area entrance by around 8:30 where they held us for a bit and off the ride by 9:15. I'd say it was worth it as we are early risers anyway. I agree...

    Fast Pass - Staying Offsite

Our trip is in 3 days and we are staying at the Holiday Inn at Disney Springs. I was online at 7 am at the 30 day mark for each day and managed to get River Journey (scored a 12:15 slot), 7D (a much later slot of 7:30 but still got it), and Frozen (4:30). FOP was completely gone as soon as I...

PAINT THE NIGHT - Photos/Video, Reviews & Thoughts

I noticed some malfunctions when I saw it recently too (the first show on Thursday). One of the Fairy dancers and one of the Cars dancers both stepped out of the parade because I guess something was wrong with their costumes. The Cars truck was also dark, which was disappointing (though as we...

Rope Drop or Late at Night? Or Both?

I'm usually up by 7 every day of the year. But on vacation I'm actually up maybe an hour earlier just because I'm excited to start the day. So I'd say both. I love the slow, calm nature of the morning but Disney at night is just an experience in itself so I tend to just do open to close.

The 60th Anniversary of Disneyland: The Reality of it All

My first time to Disneyland will be in June this summer and I was excited before but now I'm even moreso after hearing of all of these special things for the 60th! I'm a WDW vet (I have read that guide thread) and from what I can tell lately, seems like DLR is the place to be! I'm so excited!

    Kingdom Hearts

I never understood why KH didn't have a bigger presence in the parks. But as for KH 3, we have not even a clue of when it will be released. It's been almost a decade since the 2nd game (I'm not counting all of the handhelds) and there's very limited info on it so by the time it's released it's...

    Going with friends

I've never been with friends but one of my friends keeps saying we should all plan a trip but I'm really nervous about that because 1. Out of all of us, I've been to WDW the most times so I know it a bit better than they do. 2. some of my friends can be pretty flaky and I fear that nobody is...

    Elsa Favoritism

I definitely think it's the powers, the dress, and the song. Of the two I felt like Elsa got less screen time (which was disappiointing), so her popularity is surprising in that way.

Would Disney ever revive cancelled projects?

Also the planned unicorn attraction apparently got turned into the Flying Unicorn which is of course now Flight of the Hippogriff.

Would Disney ever revive cancelled projects?

Especially considering that if they'd kept them, the entrance probably would've been easier to find.

Would Disney ever revive cancelled projects?

From what I've read Beastly Kingdom was cancelled due to budget issues. And then much of the original ideas for it can now be seen in IoA. But at this point, I believe Avatarland is being built in the space it would've gone in :(

    RNRC question...

RnRC is definitely a good ride to start out with if you've never done inversions before. I think it's because it's indoors. Others at maybe Universal/IoA are outdoors so they tend to be a bit faster, higher, and more intense (but still really fun) I think. But yeah, you should be just fine on...

Would Disney ever revive cancelled projects?

I'm not sure if they ever would but if they do, I'm always hoping Beastly Kingdom will happen (though now with Avatar coming about, it's pretty much unlikely). Oh well, I can dream.

Is there any point in "Epcot" anymore?

I definitely agree with this. World Showcase continues to be one of the best places to shop between the 4 parks. I got some amazing jewelry last time I was there. But yes, the park definitely needs some help.
