We have stayed at all three spots and I would say CB and CSR are really nice resorts. You have a table service restaurant at both and both have really nice pools and grounds. There is more of an internal bus system at both as well though so depending on where you are staying within each resort...

I was told by DVC it was due to construction. There is a note on the website now (in the booking engine) that also says this. I think it is from around Dec 3rd 2019 to late Jan 2020. I think the value rooms started coming back around Jan 26th 2020 or something like that...

This was us last time... We did it (the DDP). We also told ourselves a number of times during some of those table service character meals that it might be our last time eating at some of those places... Quality of food is just not there when you are paying out of pocket for 3-4 disney adults...

No problem at all. Depending on your room it can be a pretty serious walk. The hallway set ups try to capitalise on getting as much savanna views as possible but this results in them going on for fairly long distances. If it were me, I would just request being close as possible to bus service...
