Was able to ride yesterday and for anybody wondering, there was a few changes, albeit subtle. Most notably, the ride is a MUCH smoother experience overall but aside from that, it seemed to mainly just be lighting upgrades and a couple of props moved around in the queue.

It seems like the general response has either been overwhelmingly positive or overwhelmingly negative depending on who you talk to. Having finally ridden it in person recently, I found myself somewhere in the middle. All this talk about it being an upgrade or a downgrade but it truly feels like...

I honestly don't get it. There are so many other attractions on property that could benefit from these upgrades - Haunted Mansion is not one of them.

I saw this in person the other day and it is LAUGHABLY bad. To make matters worse, it's only on one of them right now making it look far worse when compared to the original (and far more convincing) effect.

if you cancel a park reservation does it also cancel your BG? Ideally would like to head straight to MK instead of scanning into EPCOT and then immediately leaving

Do we know if they're being strict with the return times? I'd imagine not with how often the ride is breaking down, but I still don't feel like driving all the way to MK only to be told I can't go on if I miss my window.

I have an MK reservation but I didn't (and have still yet to) join the VQ because I know I won't be able to get to the park until after work. Is it a dumb idea to wait until the 1 PM drop? Do we think those will go more quickly? My hesitation with getting a group now is getting an early return...

I agree that an insane amount of negativity has haunted this thread since it's conception (look at any of my old posts and you'll see me basically pleading for people to give the ride a chance) but I think it's unfair to dismiss anyone who has legitimate criticism of the ride by claiming...

No worries! Same rules apply for normal park hopper tickets too, although they've since eliminated reservations for date based tickets so I may be wrong
