Now that my reservation for July at the Dolphin was cancelled this will be the first time in 10yrs that I’ve visited Orlando and not stepped foot on property at a resort or a park.
I was able to snag a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa at the Sheraton Vistana resort for an incredible rate. Hopefully UO...
With no park hopping, serious question here, are Epcot, AK, and DHS full day parks? I’ve been able to do all three in one day and hit the major attractions.
Also, a lot of people keep saying some attractions won’t open, but other parks that have reopened haven’t kept any attractions closed. The...
Anyone heard anything on the reopening of Swan or Dolphin? I have a reservation 7/14-16 that I booked about 3 months ago.
I paid $184/night when I booked it, just checked the prices now and they’re up to $734/night for the same room.
I’ve flown r/t New York to Tampa twice in the past 6 weeks with no issue. There’s no restrictions that are enforced, the crew suggests a 14 day quarantine, that’s it.
Watching some live videos from the AP preview day today. The park looks really dead, but it seems that all their new protocols are being well received. The "rest" area overlooking the lake, which is a mask-free area seems very nice, they look to be cleaning it every 5 mins.
The Spongebob...
I was nervous about this but verified over the phone that tickets for each day, if purchased in advance online will be guaranteed entry. She said once a date hits its capacity for tickets sold it will no longer be available online.
Finally pulled the trigger and purchased tickets to Universal for July 15th. Even though we're staying at the Dolphin for 4 days I can't wait any longer for information from Disney, as they have been providing next to none. With them being quiet on park hopping, and Universal allowing it, I...
I'm so close to switching our July trip to UO. With only having 1 full day available for the parks, without park hopping, the prices at Disney just don't seem worth it. For the price I'm paying for 2 nights at Dolphin, and a 1 day hopper (if its even available) I can get the same exact stay but...
Anyone heard anything regarding park hopping? I only have time for 1 day at Disney and wanted to park hop. If that’s not available I guess I’ll just switch over to UO, as it looks like their same day 2-park ticket option is still available
My trip is costing me $84/night (Marriott employee rate) at Dolphin (2 nights) and a 1 day park hopper is roughly $200. I budget $150 to spend in the park...my total trip, including flight, is costing me less than $600 from July 14-16. Renting a car and going down to South Beach for a few days...
Just checked prices on some of the Universal resorts for mid July. Prices have gone up 50% since last week, I think it’s safe to say they assume they’ll be open by mid July at the latest.
I have a mid-July trip scheduled at the Dolphin but we haven’t purchased any of our park tickets yet, because they’re not refundable.
If they announce 30% capacity and restrict to on site guests I’d hope that I’d still have the opportunity to buy tickets. This situation is all so frustrating...
Maybe a dumb question, but isn’t it impossible for all 4 parks to reopen at the same time? Didn’t Disney send most of Epcot international CMs back home? Could they staff Epcot without the international CMs?
