Not a fan of the new layout. The entire white look blends the posts together and is very bland. I really miss the borders around the posts. I don't like how people without avatars will now have big question marks as their avatars. I also don't like the "like" button for each post.

Rides like Space Mountain and Big Thunder have height requirements for safety. Nobody under the height can ride, which includes some adults. There is no minimum age to ride. A tall 3 year old over 44" could ride Space Mountain.
I agree. I didn't think Avatar was visually stunning. It was the same type of CGI special effects that have been around for a while now. I think the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park look more realistic than the animals in Avatar.
I'll miss Snow White's Scary Adventures. Too bad they didn't decide to theme the Dwarf mine ride to a different movie and keep the Scary Adventure ride, or build the Dwarf ride and still keep Scary Adventures.
If talking Mickey is already in regular use, then shouldn't they be calling him "current-gen" and not "next-gen" anymore? Tomorrow will they call him "past-gen"?
I find it funny that no where in any of the announcements, have they even mentioned the name of one of the animals in Avatar.
No animal names mentioned. It just says that we get to go to a mythical world. The animals in Avatar are not even myths. Everyone knows they were created for a movie...
I still don't see why they don't build Beastly Kingdom instead. It would have dealt with mythological creatures that have been part of the world for centuries. It would have been a broad theme that could have ranged from dragons to Egyptian Rocs (giant flying birds).
Avatar is a sci-fi movie...
Up next: Planet of the Apes land!
Announcement: "We feel that Planet of the Apes is a perfect fit with Animal Kingdom because of its important message on not blowing up stuff. With this new land, we will give guests the opportunity to feel and touch the world the apes created."
I don't care what "Gen" this project is, booking rides times is lame. "Oh no, I've got to rush out of my lunch quick to make my 12:30 small world appointment!"
