oooh - i like that answer! if i could just wait it out and do last tail end of that last week of august i would - but being i'm a teacher and sis my husband, it'll be a real pain... so perhaps it isn't worth the 'pain' for the lower estimated crowd... thank you!
Hi all,
Still trying to decide on timeline for this summer's trip. it's our first time. it was suggested we wait until second half of august to go, although as teachers it's a tough one... but when i look at the crowd calendar on touring plans.com -- the differences between dates in july and...
And, I have an insane Lego-fan - so a friend recommended one day at Legoland. But then honestly, it seems like to do all of that - regardless of how much time we have... we are off all summer... but to do all three parks, would it water it all down? seems to take away the magic a bit...
Thank you. I was originally thinking to do 5 day tickets at Disney -- for the first time. Then if I decided to add in Universal it would be an additional two park days. Not take away a day from Disney. I'm sure 5 days is actually not enough for getting a lot in at Disney anyway, but I thought...
So we are currently planning a trip for our two boys to WDW this summer. Dates are still up in the air. I think this will be our only trip to Orlando... so my boys will be 9 and 10 - or 8 and 9, depending on the dates -- I'm wondering if we should do two days at Universal. Not sure if that...
I'm assuming the crowd calendar on touring plans are pretty good -- i did sign up and pay for the access, not that i think any one plan can really predict the future... but looking at pure numbers -- the third week of august, say 20th - 29th -- there are lighter days but only some are really...
Great - thank you. I'm so confused -- I joined that "touring plans" to see the crowd trackers, and see that honestly, it seems like the difference between july - like the week after july 4th, vs. late august, the numbers in each park vary by not so much... the big difference is between say the...
oh, wow - thank you all so much. yes, i've looked into the DAS pass system a bit -- I think that will be helpful. love the information you all gave. oddly enough i know three people who are booking the week of august 17th, so i was thinking, maybe the "quiet season" has gotten out -- ad...
Do any of you think this summer will be different due to the pricing being out there right now? when i look at july day to day and august day to day, i can see the difference in pricing by say about between 0 - 10 dollars a day for a five day ticket... i'm not looking at that for anything but...
My husband and I are both teachers in the same NJ district. We can't take any time off during the school year... and we have two boys, ages 8 and 9. They have never been to Disney, nor on a plane, or on a real full on vacation before. I' writing to ask about crowds in July VS August... not...
