    Deluxe Resorts?

@MissViv - The convenience cannot be beat - also those views are incredible.

    Girls trip!

I go each year in January and the weather is usually perfect - 70-80 degrees. This year, the weather was a bit colder. It wasn't exactly swimming weather. I agree with the Boardwalk / Yacht Club comment as I always stay there. There is just too much in walking distance.

    Favorite Disney World Area Property?

Magic Kingdom is a classic that will always be near and dear. There is something about the culture and authenticity of Epcot that I just love. I'm one of the few that don't mind introducing characters either.

    Deluxe Resorts?

@G8rchamps - That's awesome! My bucket list for resorts is the Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Yacht Club. I travel a lot for work, so we tend to always stay at the Dolphin because I can use points. Thinking off throwing caution to the wind for our September trip and trying something new.

    Deluxe Resorts?

@s&k'smom - That makes a lot of sense! When I was growing up we used to take breaks, but at this point my daughters a bit too young and doesn't stay up as late - so we tend to try and just push forward. I always have wanted to stay at the Polynesian since I first went to the Luau when I was 10...

    Favorite Disney World Area Property?

It was on my bucket list too! Just finally crossed it off on my January trip. It's funny, the loop isn't that big - but the hills are no joke =)

    Favorite Disney World Area Property?

@belledream - The boardwalk area is just amazing. I love walking along the boardwalk at night with the movies on the lawn, performers and all the activity from the restaurants, games, etc.. With the four hotels essentially connected, you really have everything you could want. I think last...

    Favorite Disney World Area Property?

Tremendous list @RustySpork! My only change to that would be MK to Epcot. But MK is a close second for me.

    Deluxe Resorts?

For those that stay at the Deluxe resorts on property, how long do you typically stay? I've always wanted to stay at one, but find it hard to justify the cost for the room when the family is barely there. I always thought that if I was staying 2 weeks and was spending more time at the hotel it...

    Favorite Disney World Area Property?

What is everyone's favorite property either in or around Disney? While it is not an official Disney resort, I love the Swan and Dolfin. You can't beat the location (walk to both Epcot and Studios), food (Shulas, bluezoo, etc.) and they have a great pool area. With that being said, probably...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

I wouldn't be surprised to see this. Typically, hotel chains have a fee for "resort" locations. Typically, they claim the "resort" fee includes things like wifi, beach chairs, etc.. While it is not an official WDW resort, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolfin have a resort fee - however -...

Attendance drop in the parks... I wonder why

I find this post quite interesting. Family and I have gone to WDW in the beginning of January for the last several years because - traditionally it is a very slow time and with a small daughter it definitely helps not standing in 60 minute lines. This year was BY FAR - the busiest we have ever...
