    Eating in your car

bring your picnic bag inside. We do it often. We like the softside coolers so after we eat we just fold them up.

    WDW Parking Fees Poll

I think for many it's a "combination" of things. park prices increasing, poor park offerings (although, I am encouraged by the new things finally happening) and park overcrowding and finally this. also many other places have jumped on the "family" vacation band wagon. cruises, all inclusives...

    WDW Parking Fees Poll

for me it's not about the cost being "covered". First of all I'm a dvc member so parking is free. I object to outrageous totally unnecessary fees. I don't appreciate it when banks do it, I don't appreciate it when my 401k manager charges me extra on my portfolio if I make a change, I don't...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

But I wonder if thAt will change Cap. It might back fire. most folks have a vacation budget so like me, you charge me an extra 120 bucks I generally don't increase the budget, I take it from another area. I have to pay for parking?? ok now I don't buy tee shirts for everyone or skip something...

Fans vs. IPs - what gives? (I apologize if it was brought up before)

I don't have any problem with IP stuff and I 1000% prefer new IP rides than the borrowing, 2 day older than Christ himself stuff. The Maelstrom ride and film was old and beyond boring. Yes it was time for it to go. could they have come up with something more Authentic Norwegian?? maybe but...

How many Classic Disney Films are not politically correct today

of course not but that does not mean we have to perpetuate them. and they were usually created by someone/ some group that is not effected by the stereotype. Nor does it make the stereotype true so once again what makes speaking out against them so "sad"??,t Also again, let's keep this is...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

Really not that hard 21. Now this is just for me and one advantage I have is that I live near 3 major international airports (Philly, Newark and JFK). Airfare is the big budget killer for most folks. So lets look at my trip to Paris last year 6 nights/7 days. first I did not have to spend...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

This loophole has been standard practice for years Willow. sorry, not saying it's right or wrong. it is what it is. rumor has been swirling that travel agents have been known to advise clients to do it. Don't know if that is true. It's especially popular at the Ft. Wilderness campgrounds...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

Does Universal charge to stay at their resorts? I heard mention that Disney claims they are just following "industry" practices. lol, meaning they found out Universal is making extra dough so the greedy little boys said why not. Ok the last sentence was brought to you by me and not disney but...

    Member Services Welcome Voice

LOL, gotta tell you nicb88, if you offered me a million bucks to tell you what the automated voice sounded like, I'd be broke because I couldn't tell you. Those automated voices are so ubiquitous now that I don't pay attention. they are like background noise.

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

I agree, the only remaining perk imo for staying onsite is the extra 30 day window to make fast pass and I know many folks who are booking "throwaway" rooms. My girlfriend is booking at a value, she's going to make her fast passes 60 days out, cancel all but 1 night and has an offsite...

Dates announced for the Incredible Summer celebration at Walt Disney World

Well I guess I'm in the minority here, as I love the Incredibles. It's actually my favorite Disney movie and especially excited to see Edna Mode. I'll be checking it out for my end of August trip.
