Just take in to account that the resort will charge a small fee to hold the package should it arrive prior to you checking in. But I must admit even with this fee it is usually still worth it.
As long as you can call (as mentioned previously) for the necessities. I would be all for it! I think it is a great idea/option for those who wish to do so.
Only when taking food quality into consideration any character dining. The food is okay at best which can be disappointing to say the least.

A few years ago I would have said they are both excellent choices but after our last three visits to Le Ceiller, we unfortunately will not be back.
My vote would be California Grill during the fireworks!! It is fantastic we have also experienced great service, food and a good time.
On the reservation we indicated it was our anniversary, that is it. We have done this for our two past anniversaries and have gotten the same experience both times. Even Mickey confetti on the table.
California Grill is a great choice...especially during the fireworks. We went here for our anniversary and they put us in the quite side room which was so nice and enjoyable. We could actually see the Epcot, HS and MK fireworks during our dinner.
My second choice would be Artist Point at WL...
