I haven’t read through all the pages of this thread that I started but could there be a concern from Iger that given this hyper-political world he’s concerned that there are enough right wing leaning shareholders who may vote against Iger just out of spite?
The site that shall not be named posted a story about a guest who fell overboard from a Tom Sawyer Island raft and said he was scared of drowning because the current is 3x stronger than that of Castaway Creek. I’m not disputing what the guest said but the rivers of America look like they don’t...
If you have a majority of the board and the CEO who is diametrically opposed to him perhaps the majority of the board would then come to its senses and start trying to improve things rather than bow to his pressure.
I don't want to see Disney burn, I don't have a grudge against Iger. But the Disney company today, and specifically the parks are not what they were 10, 15, 20, years ago. Disney has lost much or most of it's magic and I don't see anyone on the current board who is willing to try to bring it...

If you're signed up through compushare on line I think they're distributed that way. Honestly this is the first time I ever paid attention to the board elections.

If Iger and the board came out with a mea culpa and said something to the effect of "we know we've placed priorities in the wrong place and we're trying to change it...
This is what I'm concerned about. I don't want the company destroyed. I just want it improved, back to focus on quality, guest experience, entertaining movies. My only thought is that having Peltz and Rasulo on the board might be enough of a wake up call to get the rest of the board and Iger to...
I've followed very slightly the whole Nelson Peltz, etc, board fight going on but am conflicted regarding who to vote for. I love Disney World, have been disappointed by what I see as a decline in innovation and the feeling of them resting on their laurels in the theme park space and confused by...
