It’s that time of the year again

Not exactly Fantasyland-specific but I’m wondering how many attractions that still exist are known to have lost audio that only survives in older recordings. I know Haunted Mansion is a big example and obviously the Fantasyland dark rides in this thread.

They did keep some portions of the original Imageworks elements for the archives so there’s that (Rainbow Corridor sign, paintbrush figures, pin tables, Lumia, etc). Most recently the pin tables were on display at an event a couple years ago.

Ironically the original JII was ahead of its time having an on-ride photo although that was obviously due to Kodak being the ride sponsor. Nowadays it’s so commonplace but can easily be included again if we ever do see an Imagination 4.

F-63 “Astronaut at Console”, it corresponds to infamous “Window Girl” rather than the F-61 astronaut on the small satellite you’re citing from back in 2006. The astronauts both had movement to simulate floating but were not true AAs like the woman.

Glad to see they still exist and are being preserved. I’d love to finally hear the Vic Perrin narration in HQ thought I doubt they’ll release it publicly.

At this point they’re more than likely to replace it with a smaller scale version of the same design but more maintenance friendly. After all we’re close now to 20 years since it’s been in A mode and probably a headache for those dealing with everyone’s pleas. As much as I like the original and...
