Most of Tokyo’s assets originally came from WDW. The Haunted Mansion is a great example of this, especially since it’s the closest thing to the original version.
It’s possible you didn’t notice it because of the darkness. Also yes there are threads for most of the other rides, simply use the search function and they should pop up. If nothing shows up then feel free to make a thread based on what you’re looking for.
It’s definitely possible more photos exist, it’s just the matter of making those who have them aware of the situation so they can be uploaded. For all we know they could be hidden away in Grandmas photo albums.

What you see in that photo is above your head as you’re descending backwards in the room with blue lights. I guess they think it’s okay not to clean it for years if the average guest doesn’t notice it.
I’ve asked around but there’s still conflicting reports on what the Asteroid was. Some people say a physical prop where the Carno head is, others say just the noise and flash of light. All videos from 1998 show the Carno head so I don’t know what to believe.

Yeah you’re definitely right. Btw speaking of Peter Pan I’ve always found it cool that the WDW version of the ride still contains elements of the original Disneyland version such as Captain Hook yelling “Fire Mister Smee!”.
