So I realized while on a Disney Plus deep dive last night that this area will be based on the National Park as seen in "Planes: Fire and Rescue." Piston Peak is gorgeous in the movie. If they nail this area, I think it may wind up being an upgrade. Definitely a vibe switch, less Frontierland...

Did they give a timeframe for the TV show?

I always felt the Cars franchise (with the exception of Cars 2) celebrated "Americana." I do think this has potential to be a decent fit in the area as opposed to many of the other rumored choices.
